This new role is perfect for someone with a CDL A who wants to see the country and interact with the greatest fans in racing!
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving a commercial tractor trailer to race events throughout the season
- Responsible for loading, unloading, and managing Fan Engagement/Ticketing Trailer
- Experience utilizing an Electronic Logging Device (ELD) and understanding of DOT regulations
- Ensure company assigned vehicle is kept and maintained to company standards
- Assist with setting up the ticketing trailer and fan engagement assets on race day
- Work with Events and Fan Engagement teams on placement of the trailer at each event
- Serve as official pace truck driver for the series
- Assist other departments with set up on race day prior to pace truck driving duties
- Work with the race director taking direction on use and procedures for the pace truck throughout the event night
- Clean, maintain and perform basic repair on fan-experience assets and equipment
- Partner with DIRTVision, Client Services and other WRG departments as needed to execute any initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; combination of high school diploma (or equivalent) and experience acceptable
- CDL Class A required
- Over the road truck driving experience required
- Able to learn short-track, dirt motorsports
- Ability to learn and use a computer or phone app to log and track vehicle maintenance
- Good verbal skills
- Sense of initiative necessary
- This role primarily follows the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series schedule
- History of and willingness to work in a team environment
- Able to maintain positive demeanor, even in highly stressful or demanding situations

- This role primarily follows the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series schedule; 25-95% average overnight monthly travel during the racing season (February – November)
