Series Marketing Coordinator

We’re looking for a hands-on problem solver who can roll up the sleeves and deliver exceptional service to our partners. The right person is a road warrior, capable of traveling with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series.

  • Execute at-track deliverables for partners, including but not limited to: contract fulfillment, signage, reporting, hospitality setup/breakdown/management and at-track displays
  • Lead for on-site signage (sponsor, series, etc.) including physical installation and teardown of signage at each event; develop holistic vision for placement and visibility of signage; make judgement decisions
  • Execute race elements such as Victory Lane and Feature Redraw; ensure all sponsor obligations are fulfilled; communicate with announcers, towers, public relations, and track officials
  • Execute on-site hospitality program for partners (set-up, hosting, and tear down)
  • Oversee and manage the on-site mobile marketing display program; this includes and is not limited to, coordinating and training local staff, setup and breakdown, supply maintenance, reporting and overall program performance
  • Oversee and manage partner displays to ensure set-up (location) is in optimal location; monitoring partner needs throughout each event; and ensuring teardown is complete and partner exits facility
  • Consistently monitor, evaluate and improve the existing process(es) of at-track deliverable fulfillment; develop, plan and execute alternative methods
  • Documenting each event through photos (uploading into online system) and completing event checklists/recaps
  • Maintain facility-specific guides including detailed plans for deliverable fulfillment
  • Manage on-site lead generation activities as needed
  • Interact with the audience through giveaways or other promotions
  • Serve as a resource for at-event partners
  • While in the office, assisting in Client Services projects, updating materials and preparing banner kits
  • Ensure administrative elements are fulfilled, such as booking lodging, coordinating travel with other employees; completing timely and accurate expense reports, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned (both office and on-site)

Required Skills:

  • 1+ years related experience required, preferably in a hands-on role
  • Background in racing, sports marketing or event management a plus
  • Strong problem solving skills required
  • High sense of ownership and personal accountability required
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Able to communicate with a variety of people
  • Proven record of dependability and integrity
  • Proven history of successfully handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • History of and willingness to work in a team environment
  • Able to maintain positive demeanor, even in highly stressful or demanding situations

Position:
– This position requires up to 50% overnight travel during racing season
– This position requires up to 10% overnight travel during the off-season (traditionally November-January)
– This position may drive a company vehicle occasionally, which may include pulling a trailer.
– This position is based in the Concord, NC office
