This role in our Concord, NC, office produces and assists in the production of WRG Video Content for various distribution platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production of and produce World Racing Group Productions digital video content
- Create and edit live event-centered commercials and promotional content as needed throughout the year
- Assist in the creation of and editing of highlights and features to be included in nationally broadcast programming
- Assist in compiling B-roll packs for media and partner distribution
- Operate camera for events to be broadcast in live or tape-delay programming
- Edit content to ensure that final product meets the time and content specifications for assigned project
- Ensure that all edited projects meet WRG Productions standards and are consistent with the preferred brand image
- Assist in creating and editing content for World Racing Group owned web sites and social media
- Design graphic elements for show/web use
- Work with team to help create and maintain a well organized video library and media archive.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years broadcast and/or web video editing and production experience
- Background in sports media experience preferred
- Knowledge of and interest in short track dirt racing helpful
- Strong familiarity with technologies such as:
- Adobe Premier
- Photoshop
- After Effects
- High sense of ownership and personal accountability required
- Strong organizational skills necessary
- Good written and verbal skills
- Proven history of successfully handling multiple projects simultaneously
- History of and willingness to work in a team environment
Notes:
- This is an in-office position based in Concord, NC
- In addition to traditional work hours/days, this role may be utilized for weekend and/or evening hours
- 5% average monthly overnight travel
- This position requires frequent sitting and occasional walking and standing; the use of hands to grasp and feel frequently; the occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds; and may require use of close vision. This position is based indoors although may experience occasional exposure to the elements.
