Due to internal promotion, we’re looking for a Fan Entertainment Coordinator who travels with the assigned series to operate the at-track video board and assist in producing the non-race elements of the event.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary operator of the mobile large video screen. This includes and is not limited to: setting up, maintaining and storing the big screen and video transmission equipment, troubleshooting issues, and proactively addressing issues that may interfere with successful operation of the at-track program
- Serve as liaison between DIRTVision producer, announcers and race control at each event to ensure a smooth, entertaining program for fans at track
- Produce big screen video content throughout the event; partner with event, fan engagement and production staff
- In partnership with other members of the event, production and series teams, set and follow the nightly schedule for on-screen activities; adjust the schedule if necessary based on specific event occurrences
- Work with production team to create creative and entertaining content for in-race, at-track video elements
- Follow guides and requirements for sponsor and in-event deliverables
- Keep the fans’ at-track experience and entertainment front of mind and push to make that experience better at every event
- Work with other Fan Entertainment and Fan Experience team members to develop ideas and plans for new content
- If needed, assist Fan Experience team with face-to-face fan activities
- Other duties as assigned
Skills:
- At least one year of experience in basic video or television production strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in video production or marketing preferred
- Photoshop experience helpful
- Familiarity with short-track dirt motorsports helpful; ability and willingness to learn is necessary
- Ability and willingness to understand and learn new technology
- Able to quickly and willingly juggle high priority requests
- Sense of initiative necessary
- High sense of ownership and personal accountability required
- History of and willingness to work in a team environment
- Sense of initiative necessary
- Able to legally enter and exit Canada
Notes:
- Role based in Concord, NC
- Monthly overnight travel will average between 30% -95% during the racing season. Off-season monthly overnight travel averages 0-5%.
- This role requires frequent sitting, occasional walking, standing and climbing stairs; the frequent use of hands to grasp and feel; occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds with infrequent lifting up to 50 pound; may require the use of close vision under natural and artificial light; frequent exposure to outdoor elements including loud noises and dust.
