Executive Assistant (Concord, NC)

This role provides administrative support and project work for assigned leaders while handling front desk reception duties.


  • Provide administrative support to assigned senior leader(s) which could include and is not limited to: researching and booking travel; managing calendar; creating reports, documents, letters, presentations, and other materials; scheduling and monitoring phone calls; completing expense reports; and other general and clerical needs
  • Provide front desk receptionist duties, including greeting and screening visitors; answering incoming phone calls; receive, screen and distribute correspondence such as mail and packages
  • Provide lead role in maintaining relationship with hotel travel management company; troubleshoot issues, maintain billing accurate, discount status and records
  • Assist customers with inbound ticket sales
  • Manage and maintain adequate inventory of office supplies
  • Develop and maintain necessary files, both hard and electronic copies as needed
  • Execute special projects and requests
  • Monitor and ensure operation of office equipment; troubleshoot malfunctions; arrange for maintenance
  • Provide customer care as a member of an inbound call center team for event ticket sales
  • As necessary, provide at-event support in a number of roles
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • 5 years previous administrative support necessary
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 or 4 year college degree preferred
  • Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook abilities needed; experience with PowerPoint and/or Photoshop helpful
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong problem solving skills required, balanced with knowing when to seek assistance
  • High sense of ownership and personal accountability required
  • Able to communicate with a variety of people
  • Proven record of dependability and integrity
  • Strong organizational skills necessary
  • Able to maintain positive demeanor, even in highly stressful or demanding situations


  • In-office role based in Concord, NC
  • In addition to a traditional Monday-Friday work week that typically begins at 8:30am, this position may occasionally be utilized during evening and/or weekend hours
  • Overnight travel averages 5% or less per month
  • This position frequently requires sitting for long periods of time; occasional standing, bending, kneeling and twisting; using hands to grasp, reach or feel; occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds; and, close vision.  This position is based indoors but may occasionally require exposure to the elements.
