This role plans, develops, implements and evaluates the email marketing campaigns for the World of Outlaws, DIRTVision and DIRTcar Racing.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test and implement strategic marketing campaigns that are aimed at achieving company goals
- Analyze and report on the email marketing campaigns and provide suggestions or recommendations for improvements
- Proactively stay ahead of current and emerging email best practices and apply those in order to be an industry leader
- Identify and implement content strategies that result in the most effective engagement and results
- Oversee and monitor the maintenance, security and integrity of the company’s email databases
- In partnership with other departments, identify, segment and grow the company’s email databases
- Develop documentation and road maps for processes, test and promotions
- Ensure email campaigns follow industry policies, best practices, company and industry standards and grammar rules
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- At least two years experience working directly with email marketing campaigns or Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing or related plus one year working with email marketing campaigns
- Experience with the following preferred:
- CMS/CRM
- Hubspot
- Google analytics
- Photoshop
- SEO/SEM
- HTML
- Able to learn, understand and adapt to our sport and customer base
- High sense of ownership and personal accountability required
- Able to communicate with a variety of people
- Proven record of dependability and integrity
- Strong organizational skills necessary
- Good written and verbal skills
- Proven history of successfully handling multiple projects simultaneously
- History of and willingness to work in a team environment
- Able to maintain positive demeanor, even in highly stressful or demanding situations
