General Manager, DIRTVision


This position will oversee and guide the day-to-day operation of DIRTVision production and supervise field staff. Responsibilities include managingschedules, work flow and staffing resources, and optimizing production.


  • Drive operational planning and execution of all aspects of DIRTVision broadcasts
  • Manage the look and feel of broadcast graphic elements to ensure broadcast consistency and industry-leading appearance
  • Manage the additional logistics and production requirements of network TV broadcasts
  • Oversee the management of the customer experience of
  • Plan and manage the execution of broadcast & subscription promotion through social media and non-traditional advertising methods
  • Identify new and manage existing advertising opportunities within DIRTvision broadcasts and website
  • Define, document, track, and recommend best practices for broadcast production and related assets
  • Work with Director, Broadcast & Technology to hire, organize, train and manage DIRTVision employees
  • Determine appropriate duty allocation for managed employees and ensure successful execution
  • Manage Studio and Trackside operations staff and logistics to ensure they are staffed for success and are able to handle adversity in a way unnoticeable to DIRTVision customer base
  • Ensure all tasks are complete and documented for redundancy and consistency
  • Compile and distribute weekly subscriber and sales data reports to management team
  • Work with Director, Broadcast & Technology to direct cost reduction and process improvement to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness
  • Work with Director, Broadcast & Technology to identify areas for improvement in both broadcast quality and efficiency
  • Work with team to identify opportunities for broadcast, promotion, and website/application enhancements and efficiencies
  • Work with digital development teams to improve the DIRTVision experience for the end-user
  • Liaise with partners to understand needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of services.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in marketing, management, communications, broadcast journalism or related field
  • Experience with graphic design and Photoshop
  • Experience in video production fundamentals
  • Experience working with outside contractors preferred
  • Proven record of dependability and integrity
  • Strong organizational skills necessary
  • Strong attention to detail necessary
  • Good written and verbal skills
  • Proven history of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • History of and willingness to work in a team environment
  • Able to maintain positive demeanor, even in highly stressful or demanding situations
  • Must be a self-starter who is internally driven for success


  • Based in Concord, NC
  • Full time
  • Overnight travel approximately 5-25% monthly, primarily in highest volume racing months
